Job Title: FITARA Analyst, Associate

Clearance: Public Trust

Job Summary: LCG is seeking a FITARA Analyst, Associate supports the operational execution of the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA) program for the Client within the Office of Management, Technology and Operations (OMTO), Division of Technology Management (DTM). This role provides hands-on coordination, reporting, policy/process support, and stakeholder engagement to ensure Client meets FITARA governance, transparency, and reporting requirements in alignment with HHS directives and federal mandates.

The FITARA Analyst contributes to IT governance and compliance operations by maintaining program documentation, coordinating reporting deliverables and data calls, supporting training and communications, and assisting with FITARA reporting submissions using tools such as FITTS, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office products (Excel/PowerPoint).

Key Responsibilities

Support FITARA Operational Execution



  • Provide day-to-day support for FITARA execution activities across Client's IT environment, ensuring tasks are performed on schedule and in alignment with federal and HHS governance requirements.
  • Assist with operational implementation of FITARA processes that support IT planning, budgeting, acquisition tracking, and reporting activities across Client stakeholders.


Policy and Process Documentation Updates



  • Maintain and update FITARA-related documentation, SOPs, and process guidance to ensure consistency, repeatability, and compliance with evolving requirements.
  • Support version control and governance for policy/process documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.


Training, Webinars, and Office Hours Support



  • Support the planning and execution of FITARA stakeholder training sessions, webinars, and office hours to improve awareness and program execution across Client.
  • Help develop and maintain training materials and communications that clarify reporting expectations, timelines, and submission requirements.


Data Collection and Analysis Support



  • Collect, validate, organize, and analyze FITARA-related reporting data to support required submissions and program tracking.
  • Support data analysis activities that identify gaps, trends, or quality issues and provide recommendations for improvement aligned to program objectives.


Maintain Reporting Inputs and Trackers



  • Maintain FITARA reporting inputs, logs, trackers, and related working documents used to support monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc deliverables.
  • Ensure reporting artifacts are accurate, current, and audit-ready to support transparency and oversight.


Coordinate Stakeholder Submissions



  • Coordinate with Client stakeholders (CORs, system owners, program offices, and IT teams) to collect required input for FITARA submissions and suspense-driven deliverables.
  • Track submission progress, identify blockers early, and support timely completion of deliverables.


Draft Briefing Materials for Leadership



  • Draft briefing slides, executive summaries, and other materials used to communicate FITARA program status, compliance progress, gaps, and next steps to leadership and stakeholders.


Support SharePoint Content Updates



  • Support maintenance and updates to FITARA-related SharePoint sites and content repositories to ensure centralized, organized, and accessible program documentation.
  • Coordinate content updates and document availability for stakeholder access and reporting readiness.


Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree (or related undergraduate degree) consistent with compliance/security roles supporting federal SA&A and policy requirements.

Certification: Preferred but not required: CAPM, PMP, ITIL, or federal IT governance training/certificates.

Experience:



  • Minimum: 2+ years of project management experience
  • Demonstrated familiarity with FITARA and related federal IT reporting practice
  • Experience supporting FITARA execution within a federal agency or federal contractor environment
  • Experience working with IT governance processes such as CPIC, IT investment tracking, acquisition oversight, or compliance reporting
  • Experience supporting stakeholder training/webinars and producing briefing content for leadership
  • Working familiarity with FITARA policies, reporting requirements, and operational execution expectations
  • Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and suspense-driven deliverables
  • Experience supporting program-level reporting processes such as:

    • data calls and recurring submissions
    • tracker management and data validation
    • stakeholder coordination for reporting inputs


  • Strong ability to create and maintain professional documentation, trackers, and executive briefings


Tools Set / Platforms

The FITARA Analyst, Associate is expected to work effectively with the following tools and platforms:



  • FITTS (FITARA reporting system support)
  • Microsoft SharePoint (program documentation and collaboration)
  • Microsoft Excel (data analysis, tracking, reporting inputs)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (briefings, training decks, leadership reporting)


Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $100,000 per year, benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, education/training, skills, certifications, and experience.
