Title: Business Finance Analyst - Chlor Alkali & Vinyls
Location: Houston, TX
Additional location includes Clayton, MO

Salary: $85,500 - 110,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week

Focus: The Business Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial estimate and reporting processes for Olin's Chlor Alkali & Vinyls segments. You will compile and validate data inputs, review outputs for reasonableness and ensure alignment with corporate financial standards. You will also work on identifying ways to improve the efficiency of current financial reporting processes. This role is critical in enabling accurate forecasting, insightful analysis, and timely reporting that supports strategic decision-making.

Business Finance Analyst Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare various monthly financial reports packages around energy reporting, parlay volumes, profitability by product, site and by terminal.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Cost/Revenue Accounting and Operations teams to explain actual results and forecast variances.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and standardization in reporting workflows by leveraging the latest technology solutions to enhance process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Responsible for the financial administration of the third-party contracts related to Chlorine and Cell Effluent.
  • Collect and compile financial data inputs from cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in preparing monthly forecasts and quarterly estimates, ensuring alignment with business drivers and historical trends.

Business Finance Analyst Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree* in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA, CMA or other certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power query; SAP experience preferred. Ability to establish databases.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate effectively with stakeholder.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Robust critical thinking, initiative, analytical skills, proactive approach, and creativity.
  • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred.
