An industry-leading electric vehicle manufacturer at the forefront of advanced manufacturing and cutting-edge technology is seeking a Senior Dimensional Engineering Specialist to help shape the future of production quality. This newly created role offers the rare opportunity to build responsibilities from the ground up while working within a highly innovative Manufacturing & Engineering organization focused on precision, quality standards, and continuous improvement. No two days look the same, and your expertise will directly influence how next-generation products move from design into production.

Hours & Pay



  • Schedule: Full-time schedule (details discussed during interview process)
  • Compensation: $53 - $58 per hour


What You'll Do



  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and design documentation to ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerance compliance.
  • Design, evaluate, and integrate fixtures that support manufacturing equipment, robotics, conveyors, and tooling across the assembly line.
  • Apply and validate Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements throughout fixture and process design.
  • Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis to reduce variation and improve final assembly quality and performance.
  • Design fixtures that align with process flow and ergonomics to improve operator usability and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Provide technical input on manufacturability, dimensional feasibility, and quality standards.
  • Support vendor coordination, part changes, purchase orders, and new equipment design as needed.
  • Analyze dimensional and quality issues, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
  • Meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.


What You Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, STEM, or a related field, or equivalent relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dimensional engineering or manufacturing engineering role.
  • Strong, hands-on expertise in GD&T with a minimum of 5 years of applied experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced analytical skills with a strong focus on detail, accuracy, and quality.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and contribute innovative ideas in a fast-changing environment.
  • Experience working with tolerance analysis, fixture design, and dimensional measurement processes.
  • Familiarity with advanced metrology tools, SPC, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Certifications in dimensional measurement or quality control (such as CQE or Six Sigma) are preferred.
  • Must be local to Arizona.
