The Emergency Department Resource Coordinator is responsible for managing all Emergency Department equipment, ensuring it remains functional, accessible, and compliant with regulations. They collaborate closely with Material Management Operations, Enterprise Procurement, nurses, physicians, physician assistants, and leadership to optimize inventory levels and streamline equipment management processes. This role develops and implements procedures to improve efficiency and maintain strong partnerships with HTM, Facilities, and other key departments. A proactive approach to equipment maintenance and problem resolution supports smooth operations and helps deliver high-quality patient care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High school graduate or equivalent. 2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date. EXPERIENCE: 1. Five to seven years' experience as an Emergency Department Technician PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
