Patient Service Specialist - Cardiology (Established Patient Scheduling)

Location: 96 Campus Dr Scarborough, ME
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (primarily remote after onboarding)

About the Role

Our Cardiology department is seeking a detailoriented, patientfocused Patient Service Specialist to join our Established Patient Scheduling team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth patient access by managing scheduling needs and supporting the daytoday administrative functions of the practice.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fastpaced patient service environment and enjoys being a primary point of contact for patients calling into the practice.

What You'll Do

• Schedule cardiology tests and appointments for established patients.
• Serve as a main resource for incoming patient calls, offering clear and compassionate communication.
• Support daily administrative operations as needed.
• Adapt between scheduling and phone coverage based on departmental needs each day.
• Provide exceptional service that supports a positive patient experience.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: N/A
3. Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.

The Established Patient Scheduling team is responsible for coordinating all cardiology testing and serves as the primary call center for incoming patient inquiries.
