Heiser is looking for smart, energetic, technically focused Body Shop Technicians who will help redefine the car servicing experience. What we offer Competitive pay Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision 401k with company match Paid Time Off Flexible hours Employee Discount on parts, service, and vehicle purchases Job Responsibilities Responsible for repairing damaged bodies of vehicles and or parts in accordance with factory specifications. Prepare and repair vehicle per estimate according to manufacturer standards. Repair vehicle with attention to detail. Work as a team player to ensure on-time delivery of vehicles. Meet our Collision Center's requirement for productivity. Maintain tools and equipment. File, grind, sand and smooth filled or repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools. Comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations with hazardous waste disposal. Positive attitude and fix it right the first time. Remove damaged sections of vehicles using metal-cutting guns, air grinders and wrenches, and install replacement parts using wrenches or welding equipment. Follow supervisors' instructions as to which parts to restore or replace and how much time the job should take. Inspect repaired vehicles for dimensional accuracy and test drive to ensure proper alignment and handling. Qualifications I-Car preferred but not needed. Must be willing to continue learning thru GM and I-Car training. Must hold valid driver's license. Working knowledge of shop equipment. Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service. Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test).
