Overview
Provides professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice in support of, and as directed by, the physicians. Assists the physician in the treatment of patients and completes related clinical paperwork. The incumbent in this position shall carry out his or her responsibilities and integrate into his or her work ethic the Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respect for human life and the dignity of each person, applying Christian values to all crucial human issues in the area over which he or she has responsibility. No major holidays! This position is part-time working three 8 hour days. The office is open Monday - Thursday: 8AM - 5:30PM Friday/Saturday: occasional Join this lively Urogyn practice known around the world for 27+ years. This practice is renowned for excellence in providing specialized and compassionate care for women. Job Description Overview: 1. Communicate regularly with providers and staff 2. Triage patient calls Assess/evaluate their needs Discuss needs with providers and communicate actions back to the patients Act in kindness and show compassion to all who call 3. Room patients for providers (take vitals, perform urine collections) 4. Assist providers with in-office procedures (cystoscopies, bladder injections, laser therapy). 5. Perform Urodynamics testing. On the job training provided. Education: RN degree. Licensure: Requires current Missouri RN license Experience: Minimum of one to two years clinical experience. New graduates considered.
