Summary Job Description: Charge RN - 4 South Progressive Care Unit Weekly Hours: 24 Shift: Days Status:Part Time The CN is an entry-level management position responsible for the coordination of care on designated shifts.He/she will provide leadership to the staff members of the unit in the area of patient care. The charge nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patientoutcomes. Also, the charge nurse will serve as a role model by actively participating in the process of continuousprofessional development, teaching and learning across the healthcare continuum. Baptist Health Louisville has seven Progressive Care units in the main hospital: 4 South, 4 North, 4 East, 5 North, 6 South, 6 North, and 6 East. Each unit consists of 21 private rooms.
