Cath Lab Tech Lead oversees the work of employees (Cath Lab staff) and support staff to support procedural support, patient care excellence, coordination of care, process, task. Able to trouble shoot technical issues within the procedures rooms, and act as a resource for the team, providing guidance as the situation calls for.

Essential Job Function
  • Oversees the work of employees, including nurses and support staff to uphold quality standards.
  • Reviews the analysis of patient data, including laboratory results, diagnostic tests, and progress notes, to ensure accurate and comprehensive assessment of patients' conditions.
  • Provides guidance, support, and mentorship to employees, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Offers advice and insights, including best practices, and innovative approaches, to enhance the quality and effectiveness of patient care.
  • Participates and functions in the procedure rooms to provide care and collaborate with the Invasive Team.
  • Performs administrative duties including scheduling procedures, maintaining regulatory standards, ensures equipment readiness and reliability, optimizes workflow in the department to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
  • Required: Must hold one of the following: Graduate from one or more of the following programs required: Nursing, Radiology Technology, Respiratory Therapy, a sanctioned Cardiovascular Technology Program, or a credentialed Paramedic Program in NCPreferred: Bachelors Degree

Experience
  • Required: 2 years Interventional Cardiovascular Experience

Licensure/Certification/Listing
  • Required: RCIS or RCESBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider. American Red Cross or AHA ACLS
