Sign on Bonus $7,500 Full Time Benefit Eligible Schedule: 40 hours per week, Days; 10 hour shift 4 days per week, On Call Requirement, must be able to respond within 30 minutes or less. Department: Cardiac Cath Lab, Hospital: Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital, Location: Southfield, MI GENERAL SUMMARY: Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose and treat the cardiovascular system. Prepare patients for procedures. Review medical history, position patients and clean/shave/numb testing sites as appropriate. Interpret, describe and report test results; recognize recording errors and artifacts and react appropriately. Monitor patient prior to, during and after procedures and promptly report any abnormal findings in patient's condition. Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies and lab area. Ensure equipment is properly functioning. Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel. Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate. Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department. Previous EP Lab experience is preferred. 4 X 10-hour shifts, no weekends, no holidays. BLS and ACLS required. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR associate's degree/technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE REQUIRED: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following is required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Cardiographic Tech specializing in Rhythm Analysis credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Previous EP Lab experience preferred. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
