The Regional Director, General Manager - Texas Commercial Sales serves as a leader of leaders, providing overall leadership and strategic direction for the Texas commercial sales organization. This role leads three direct sales teams of 5-6 Account Executives across Conroe, The Woodlands, Katy, Lufkin, Dallas, and surrounding rural communities. The RD/GM partners cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Sales Engineering, Operations, and Field teams to drive sales growth and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales organization by overseeing departmental operations, setting goals, providing coaching and performance feedback, supporting talent development, and participating in hiring decisions
  • Own revenue performance and P&L results for the assigned region, including financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and accountability for achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Develop and execute regional business plans to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and increase customer penetration.
  • Drive continuous sales process improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness in partnership with Sales Managers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations, IT, and Sales Support to ensure seamless execution and a best-in-class customer experience from sale through delivery.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product Management to execute promotional programs, advertising initiatives, and trade show participation.
  • Represent the company in the marketplace by building strategic relationships with key customers, partners, and industry contacts.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by providing input on pricing strategy, product development, market performance, and competitive trends
Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in business, marketing, sales or the equivalent in experience, MBA preferred.
  • 10 years sales experience
  • 3-5 years managerial experience
  • 2-3 years of communications industry experience
  • Proven sales experience consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid state driver's license and a satisfactory driving record
