FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days, Schedule: Mon-Fri, Core Business Hours Position Summary The Budget & Contract Analyst is a key opportunity at MultiCare, supporting federal, commercial and privately funded research activities through research award management. Throughout the pre-award and post-award phases, in this role you will negotiate study budgets and contract agreements while optimizing budgets, contracts and amendments. Responsibilities You will conduct pre-award research administration activities You will conduct post-award research administration activities You will maintain reliable attendance You will contribute to the success of MHS by meeting organizational competency expectations and core values Requirements Bachelors' degree in science, healthcare or other related fields; Four (4) years of directly related experience in clinical research administration may be substituted for educational requirements Minimum three (3) years of experience in clinical trial award management to include contract and budget development and negotiation Knowledge of research protocols, sponsors, and research regulations that govern clinical research Why MultiCare? As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $66,997.00 - $96,408.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
