FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: M-F 4x10's Position Summary The Ophthalmic Assistant is responsible for assisting the provider with back office duties in the outpatient management of patients. This will include obtaining patient history and chief complaint, completing basic work up exam and ancillary testing per physician orders and protocol. They may assist with in-office procedures as appropriate and in accordance with scope of practice. Requirements High school education or equivalent Current MA-C, or must obtain MA-R within 60 days of hire One (1) year of experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant Pediatric experience preferred or at minimum a strong desire to work with and help children About Rockwood Clinic MultiCare Rockwood Clinic is one of the region's largest outpatient diagnostic and treatment centers, serving communities across eastern Washington, northern Idaho and western Montana. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.67 - $29.75 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
