ATI is seeking to hire a Senior Operations Supervisor for our Washington Operations in Washington, PA.

This position will be responsible for leading a diverse, represented hourly workforce in day-to-day problem solving and troubleshooting efforts, as well as, interacting with all levels of management on a wide range of business issues.

Essential Functions




  • Coordinate and lead the direct assignment of work and safety controls to hourly personnel
  • Assure correct operation of equipment for quality assurance & availability of operations equipment for on-time delivery
  • Report breakdown and equipment repair needs to maintenance as they occur
  • Works closely with inside and outside support personnel for mill activity coordination
  • Safety responsibilities include:

    • Prompt response to safety problem corrections
    • Proactively seek out safety concerns
    • Monitor safety programs



Minimum Requirements



  • 2 years of experience as an Operations Leader/supervisor in a manufacturing environment



Preferred Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field

  • Excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the professionalism to be approachable and an active listener
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement continuous improvement in all areas of the business
  • Able to understand and manage the impact of people, equipment, and inventory on the business
  • Able to formulate and document work instructions
  • Proven ability to effectively lead, coach, mentor, guide and develop subordinates
  • Strong background in Safety
  • Ability to build constructive and effective relationships throughout the organization
  • Excellent computer skills
