Rate of Pay:



This is a Part-Time Support Staff position at grade 14, with an hourly pay rate of $26.41 to $35.21. The offer will be based on education and experience, in alignment with the College's compensation philosophy and the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), if applicable.

Job Summary:



The Continuing Education Coordinator manages the planning, delivery, and compliance of continuing education programs awarding CEUs. This role oversees event execution, course content development, and participant engagement while ensuring adherence to state and professional licensing standards. Responsibilities include maintaining accreditation, managing credit tracking systems, coordinating marketing efforts, monitoring budgets, and supporting faculty and participants. Strong organizational, communication, and data management skills are essential to ensure program quality, compliance, and alignment with institutional goals



Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:




  1. Bachelor's degree required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Four years of experience in education administration, program coordination, or a related field.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


Strong customer service, financial management, and organizational skills



Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:




  1. Master's degree
  2. Experience managing data systems and coordinating professional development or continuing education programs




Essential Duties:




  1. Plan and execute continuing education events, workshops, and webinars.
  2. Collaborate with instructors and subject matter experts to design and maintain course content.
  3. Ensure course details, schedules, and materials are accurate and aligned with institutional and grant objectives.
  4. Manage education-related web pages, learning platforms, and virtual events.
  5. Serve as liaison with state and federal licensure entities to maintain compliance and provider status.
  6. Develop frameworks for participant eligibility, attendance, and credit completion.
  7. Maintain accurate CE credit reporting and documentation per state and professional standards.
  8. Oversee audit readiness and accreditation documentation.
  9. Act as primary contact for participants, faculty, and external partners to ensure a seamless experience.
  10. Drive participant engagement through outreach and responsive support.
  11. Analyze feedback to assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  12. Create promotional and informational materials (e-newsletters, flyers, invitations, course descriptions, surveys, press releases); coordinate with marketing, design teams, consultants, and vendors for final output.
  13. Collaborate with faculty and leadership to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  14. Support long-term planning to enhance program quality, efficiency, and alignment with institutional goals
