Overview:
We are seeking a Production Control Technician to support aerospace manufacturing operations by monitoring demand, inventory, and purchase order activity while driving communication and coordination across the supply chain. This role plays a key part in ensuring visibility and alignment between internal teams and suppliers, with a strong focus on tracking hardware status, identifying cost drivers, and supporting short- and long-term solutions to production challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
*Create and maintain reports detailing demand, purchase order status, inventory levels, work-in-progress (WIP), and abatements or alternatives to support production planning
*Track supplier performance, hardware movement, and identify risks or blockers in the supply chain
*Analyze supplier quotes and manufacturing processes to understand and communicate key cost drivers
*Provide regular updates demonstrating demand fulfillment and support exit strategies for transitioning suppliers
*Build strong working relationships with internal operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and timely decision-making
*Deliver periodic status reports and escalate issues proactively
Core Qualifications:
*Strong background in aerospace manufacturing and hardware tracking
*Experience managing and reporting on inventory, WIP, and purchase order status
*Comfortable working in a dynamic, shop-floor environment with cross-functional teams
*Ability to handle a high volume of administrative tasks while staying organized and detail-oriented
*Self-directed and flexible, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and schedules
*Strong communication and reporting skills; able to present data clearly to stakeholders at all levels
*Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain or manufacturing preferred, not required
*Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required
