Test Technician III

Job Title: Test Technician III
Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm M-F, OT as needed
Location: Geneva, OH 44041
Job Type: Direct Hire/Permanent Position
Hourly Pay Rate: Starts at $23/hr and will be based on knowledge/skills

Essential Duties:
*Performs operational run testing and troubleshooting of HVAC and generator power equipment
*Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as required
*Able to use electronic test equipment and refrigeration charge equipment
*Strong knowledge of electrical/industrial wiring and PLC
*Follows both visual and written work instructions to complete assigned tasks within allotted time set time allotted
*Able to record test result data both electronically and in written format
*Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer and/or written reporting
*Performs operator maintenance on equipment
*Adheres to all quality and safety standards

Level of Education:
*Maintenance & electrical experience
*Ability to obtain HVAC universal certification and/or EPA 608 certification
*Minimum of one to three years of industry experience preferred
*Strong knowledge of electrical/industrial wiring and PLC
*Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings
*Operation of small power tools, other hand tools, computerized and high-pressure equipment (electronic test equipment and refrigeration charge equipment)
*High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and/or related work experience
