The Position

We advance science so that we all have more time with the people we love.

The Genentech Research and Early Development Program Management department (gRED PM) includes program management, resource planning and administrative support within Portfolio Strategy Management (PSM).

The gRED PM department plays a central role in the Roche organization by providing program management expertise, leadership and ensuring cross-functional coordination for over 200 core teams and sub teams across multiple therapeutic areas (e.g. oncology, immunology, ophthalmology, neurology, ,cardiovascular/renal/metabolism, and infectious diseases) in the Genentech Research and Early Development (gRED) division, as well as the Roche Pharma organization.

These teams include drug development core teams and sub teams (clinical, biomarker, pharmacology) for programs in Research, Phase 1 and Phase 2 plus select biomarker and pharmacology sub teams for programs in Phase 3 and post-market. Program managers are responsible for driving planning, execution and oversight of global program development plans (e.g. late stage research, preclinical development, Investigational New Drug filing, clinical development, Biologics License Application/New Drug Application filing and post-market activities).
