Your role

Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the field. It will be your mission to support Atlas Copco Rental's growth strategy as the leader in steam rental business in North America.

You will



  • have experience with hydronic/boiler systems; diagnostics, repair and installations
  • have experience with combustion analysis
  • be able to navigate the PLC programs to troubleshoot
  • lead machinery trouble-shooting and document repairs made
  • replace or repair defective parts
  • provide preventative maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting services for packaged boiler systems
  • disassemble malfunctioning equipment
  • have knowledge of plubming and mechanical codes

  • You have a working knowledge of boilers or experience in HVAC. Cross training is expected in missing areas
  • You have an associate degree with engineering major or other relevant technical degree or the equvalent relevant work experience
  • You have minimum two (2) years of progressive work experience in a related industry
  • You have good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus with a strong customer focus
  • You have high energy levels
  • You have an intermediate understanding of computers and associated systems (Microsoft, Excel, Work, etc.), business systems, distribution channels and accounting practices
  • You have the bility to work independently and be a self-starter
  • You have a willingness to grow within the business

Job location

You will be part of our customer center in Delanco,NJ. You will join a dynamic field service team, working with a hybrid schedule and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area, United States (US).
