Joining Collibra's Workplace Team

To ensure continued success in our evolution, we're looking for a hands-on, hospitality driven Senior Workplace Specialist who will lead the day-to-day operations of our Raleigh office while also providing operational support for Collibra's global employee experience and onboarding programs. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all things workplace in Raleigh, acting as a trusted resource for employees and visitors alike. You'll play a key role in shaping the local culture, supporting company-wide programs, and delivering a seamless, welcoming workplace experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings both operational rigor and a strong service mindset. You'll be part of our global People and Places team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Workplace and Real Estate with a dotted-line partnership to Employee Experience. This role is expected to work from our Raleigh office 5 days per week.
Senior Workplace Specialists at Collibra are responsible for
- Lead day-to-day workplace operations and oversee the experience in our Raleigh office.
- Own key workplace programs in Raleigh such as food, supplies, mail, office supplies, and visitor support.
- Be the main point of contact for Raleigh workplace needs, welcoming guests, assisting employees, and coordinating with building management.
- Respond to and manage workplace service tickets globally, escalating issues when necessary and ensuring timely resolution.
- Support event logistics, such as team offsites, customer visits, leadership sessions, and employee engagement activities.
- Support the new hire onboarding experience locally, fostering meaningful local connections.
- Plan and execute events like anniversaries, social gatherings, and lunch & learns in Raleigh.
- Track vendor spend and help manage local budgets; work with Procurement to onboard and manage vendors.
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental standards in Raleigh and act as the Workplace team's Health & Safety lead globally.
- Contribute to sustainability and inclusion initiatives.
- Maintain close relationships with Raleigh employees and use their feedback to shape local workplace programs.
- Contribute to the implementation of global workplace programs, adapting them to fit the Raleigh context.
- Provide operational and administrative support for new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
- Coordinate the scheduling, logistics, and communications for virtual orientation and onboarding sessions, including Zoom facilitation support.
- Support the execution of quarterly live onboarding events, including logistics, onsite coordination, materials, and attendee experience data.
- Manage onboarding-related operational tasks such as calendar coordination, facilitator support, room setup, materials preparation, and post-session logistics.
- Contribute ideas and feedback from a workplace perspective to help continuously improve the onboarding and employee experience
- Support cross-functional coordination with People Ops, IT, Workplace, and SMEs to ensure new hires are set up for success from day one.
You have
- 3-4 years of experience in workplace or employee experience roles; experience as an office site lead preferred.
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Raleigh
- Experience supporting hybrid work environments and delivering solutions that support a distributed workforce.
- Familiarity with vendor management, budgeting, onboarding support, event logistics, and employee engagement.
- Experience working across time zones or in global teams, with an understanding of how to adapt support accordingly.
- Physically able to stand, move, lift, and carry items as needed (up to 50lbs).

- A team player who collaborates well across departments such as IT, Finance, and People.
- Open to feedback and constantly seeking ways to improve the employee experience.
- Comfortable working with a dual-reporting structure and independently managing day-to-day tasks.
- Willing to jump in and tackle any task, regardless of how large or small.
Measures of success
- Within your first month, you've built relationships with the team and developed a strong understanding of the Raleigh office and core workplace operations.
- Within your third month, you've established trust with key stakeholders, internal teams, and vendors and are routinely supporting any immediate workplace or onboarding operational needs.
- Within your sixth month, you're driving noticeable improvements in workplace and employee experience, aligned with Collibra's growth and employee engagement goals.
Compensation for this role
The standard rate for this position is $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per hour. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Hourly rates are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location. In addition, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
