Key Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges.
  • Provideboth inpatient and outpatient therapy services, tailoring interventions to each patient's needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to improve patients' functional abilities in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques, equipment usage, and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations and CHRISTUS Health standards.

Requirements:


  • Education:Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure:Current Texas Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience:Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Work Type:


  • PRN
  • 8am - 5pm (Flexible start/stop times)
