Overview


Cincinnati Asphalt is seeking an experienced and dynamic Striping Laborer to join our team. In this role you will be apart of a crew that is responsible for road and parkinglot striping.



Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES:

    Layout and install pavement markings on roadways and highways.
  • Track and record material quantities on each project.
  • Perform traffic control - flagging, lane closures, mobile lane closures.
  • Operate various types of pavement marking equipment.
  • Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Shifts include long days, most weekends, travel, and many nights.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • 2+ years of experience in asphalt finishing or paving crew roles preferred.
  • Proficiency in using finishing tools and understanding of paving best practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing job site needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify imperfections or quality concerns.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand, kneel, and bend for long periods.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Able to work long hours, including nights and weekends as required by the project.
  • Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.
