Job Description Summary:The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) seeks a creative and detail-oriented Communications and Media Associate to strengthen the NAE's social and digital presence. This role focuses on social media management, graphic design, and email/external communications, supporting outreach efforts that highlight engineering's impact on society.
The Associate contributes to developing compelling visuals, engaging content, and targeted campaigns that promote the NAE's work to key audiences. This position works closely with the Director and Specialist to execute communications initiatives that align with the NAE Strategic Communications Plan. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum Education/Training Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum Experience: One year of related professional experience. Compensation & Benefits: An estimated compensation range for this position is $56,410 - $70,510. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will be based on the candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, and work experience, commensurate with compensation of current employees in comparable positions with similar knowledge, skills, and work experience, and subject to budget parameters. Note it is not typical for a candidate to be hired at the higher end of the range. This is a benefits-eligible position.
