Who We Are Looking For


We are seeking an Intelligence Analyst based out of our client's GSOC in San Francisco, CA. This role is critical for ensuring the safety of employees and physical properties, maintaining business continuity, and mitigating potential business risks. Your focus and expertise in OSINT will directly influence operational strategies and client safety, making your role pivotal within the security framework.



What You Will Work On


Weekly Telegram Intelligence Briefing Production



  • Primary Tasks: Create weekly intelligence briefings and integrate relevant stories into a presentation deck.
  • Impact: Keeps stakeholders informed about current and emerging threats, critical for maintaining situational awareness and security readiness.


Quarterly Risk Assessment



  • Primary Tasks: Conducting risk assessments for regions where the organization operates every quarter.
  • Impact: Identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities is crucial for implementing effective security measures and strategic planning.


Intelligence Project Management



  • Primary Tasks: Managing various intelligence projects, including city and event risk assessments and long-term security and political events analyses.
  • Impact: Provides deep insights into potential security challenges, aiding in strategic security planning and resource allocation.


Ad Hoc Intelligence Support



  • Primary Tasks: Providing rapid research and intelligence briefings for sudden geopolitical developments or specific threats.
  • Impact: Ensures the organization can quickly adapt to and mitigate emerging threats, maintaining operational stability and security.


Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting



  • Primary Tasks: Engaging with stakeholders, and developing tailored intelligence reports and briefings on an as-needed and cadenced basis in response to geopolitical security threats and impact.


Impact: Strengthens communication and ensures that all parts of the organization are well-informed, enhancing overall security decision-making.



What You Will Bring



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and an aptitude for rapidly assimilating new information.
  • Open-source intelligence (OSINT) skills; including the ability to collect, assess, and rapidly assimilate information into concise, actionable written reports or assessments.
  • Familiarity with news reporting sources, social media channels, and other channels for real-time monitoring of current events.
  • Ability to assimilate and effectively leverage new technologies.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated interest in supporting physical security and operational logistics.
  • Aptitude for clear and effective written and verbal communications under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Ability to assess information quickly and accurately for credibility, relevance, and importance.
  • Ability to establish priorities, multi-task, work independently, and complete objectives in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Schedule flexibility and the ability to work off-hours and weekend shifts.
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.



Desired Qualifications



  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in protective intelligence, threat analysis, military intelligence, law enforcement, or corporate security environments.
  • Proven ability to assess complex threat environments and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Broad geopolitical awareness, knowledge of global events, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief senior stakeholders.
