Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Network and Computer Systems Administrator supporting an Air Force acquisition mission on the EB contract at Eglin AFB, FL, providing support to EBR. The candidate will apply knowledge and experience in the administration and management of organizational information and network systems, provide customer service, and support armament program related network systems operations.



Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

    Provide support and assistance in the development, management, and operations of acquisition and armament program related networks and systems

  • Prepare technical implementation plans with actions, milestones, timelines, and critical paths

  • Support customer access to Continuous Acquisition and Life-Cycle Support applications and other Government software applications

  • Assist with COMSEC operations and cryptonet management duties and responsibilities

  • Adhere to documentation requirements to perform certification of unclassified, classified, and/or SAP network systems as applicable

  • Perform configuration management, maintenance, troubleshooting, accountability, and administration of LANs, Windows/Linux systems, electronic messaging services, telecommunications, mobile devices, IT infrastructure, cabling, and other IT services, including classified/unclassified networks to include cloud enclave

  • Support Tier I and Tier II IT systems including imaging, patching, and configuring classified/unclassified systems

  • Manage SharePoint and administer Help Desk ticketing systems

  • Provide customer service support via in-person, email, phone, and remote methods

  • Provide technical support for briefing setups, presentations, VTCs, and online meetings

  • Perform IT equipment custodian duties including inventory and equipment destruction/transfers

  • Support telecommunication services including secure phone systems, voicemail, fax, VTC, and projection services/equipment

  • Assist end-users with operation, restoration of information, and access to business systems

  • Create and maintain organizational boxes, folder permissions, security groups, and assist with distribution groups

  • Perform Cyber Security Liaison duties and mobile device support/configuration

  • Provide data management services including file indexing/archiving, backup, and document destruction

  • Perform research, testing, evaluations, and implementation activities for new technology as required



Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an Active Top Secret (TS) clearance

Education: Associate's (Information Technology Related Discipline) + 15 years Relevant Experience, OR

      • Associate's (Information Technology Related Discipline) + 13 years Relevant Experience + IAT Level III Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Clearance: TS/SCI

Education: Bachelor's (Information Technology Related Discipline) + 11 years Relevant Experience, OR

      • Bachelor's (Information Technology Related Discipline) + 9 years Relevant Experience + IAT Level III Certification

Certifications: IAT Level III

Technical Skills

  • Network and information systems administration/management

  • Tier I / Tier II IT systems support

  • Imaging, patching, and configuring classified/unclassified systems

  • Configuration management, troubleshooting, maintenance, and accountability of IT equipment

  • COMSEC support and cryptonet management assistance

  • SharePoint administration and Help Desk ticketing systems

  • Windows and Linux system support; LAN administration

  • Telecommunications and VTC/briefing setup support

  • Classified/unclassified networks including cloud enclave support

  • Data management (indexing, archiving, backup, document destruction)
