Acara Solutions seeks an Advanced Electrical Engineer for our client in Quincy, MA.

  • As an electrical engineer for the Autonomous Maritime Platforms, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for the design and development of advanced autonomous sub-sea systems.
  • We are looking for a dynamic individual to support our mission of delivering cutting-edge solutions to our valued customers.
  • Design and develop advanced electrical systems for autonomous sub-sea platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support circuit design, PCB layout, and mixed-signal system development.
  • Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic designs.
  • Drive innovation in component selection, design architecture, and electronics integration.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Technology or Mathematics with 5 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Circuit Design.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in PCB Layout.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Altium Designer.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Proficient in using electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design.
  • Habitually ahead of technology trends, with a background in testing, troubleshooting, and reading circuit card schematics.
  • Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design.
  • Research & Development experience, including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing.
  • Collaborative team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
