Inbound Distribution Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Monroe Township, NJ

Pay Rate: $32-$36/hour + overtime

Schedule: Early Morning Inbound "A" Shift (Flexible Hours)

Shift Options



  • 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM (8 hours)
  • 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM (10 hours)
  • 4:00 AM - 5:00 PM (12 hours)
  • Saturday work may be required based on business needs



Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inbound Distribution Warehouse Supervisor to lead receiving operations within a high-volume parts distribution center (PDC) in Monroe Township, NJ. This role is strictly supervisory and is ideal for candidates with hands-on leadership experience in a distribution warehouse environment who are comfortable managing teams, performance metrics, training programs, and inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide daily supervision of inbound receiving operations to ensure safe, clean, and efficient warehouse performance
  • Lead, coach, develop, and discipline distribution center personnel in alignment with KPIs and SLAs
  • Oversee all training activities, including onboarding, skills development, and safety training
  • Conduct daily audits, performance coaching, and monthly performance discussions
  • Manage inbound volumes and staffing to ensure productivity, quality, and on-time performance
  • Supervise administrative and support functions to ensure accurate and timely completion of work
  • Monitor inventory-related activities including inspections, cycle counts, mixed stock resolution, and dealer returns
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and KPI tracking
  • Partner with the Distribution Center Manager on operational planning, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure equipment utilization, preventative maintenance, and proper space optimization
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture at all times



Qualifications

Education



  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred


Experience



  • 2-4 years of frontline supervisory experience (required)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
  • Experience supervising receiving or inbound warehouse operations strongly preferred


Skills & Competencies



  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Working knowledge of warehouse KPIs, audits, and performance metrics
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
  • Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus


Travel Requirements



  • Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%), land or air
