In this role, you will develop and execute procurement plans for finished goods and raw material components, support production schedules, and partner closely with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, accurate costing, and efficient inventory management. This is a single, full-time opportunity with long-term potential in a collaborative and stable setting.

Hours and Pay



  • Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (flexible)
  • Employment Type: Temp-to-hire
  • Work Environment: Seated position

What You Will Do



  • Analyze inventory levels and production plan data from demand management and MRP systems
  • Create and manage production schedules and work orders aligned with the strategic plan
  • Manage inventory while minimizing stock-outs, working capital expense, and freight costs
  • Lead the monthly supplier forecasting process, including data development and management review preparation
  • Perform sourcing activities, price maintenance, standard cost development, and MRO purchasing
  • Generate, maintain, and analyze management reports
  • Track and manage logistics activities, including creation and execution of expedite plans
  • Participate in meetings and perform additional duties as assigned


What You Bring



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Buyer Planner in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with MRP systems and procurement best practices
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with BPCS (AS400)
  • Background working with international suppliers, logistics, and planning
  • Negotiation skills and accounting experience
