As a Software Engineer III, you'll design and develop innovative software solutions used in the operating room (OR) environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on end-to-end product development including streaming, audio/video control, and system-level integrations, while contributing to medical technologies that directly impact patient care. You'll collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams in a regulated, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting OR integration solutions Build and enhance applications using Angular, .NET, C#, Web APIs, microservices, and databases Translate product and user requirements into technical designs and specifications Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements through deployment Contribute to architecture, design, and code reviews Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization Support product releases, installations, and system validation activities Collaborate with engineering, product, and regulatory teams to ensure quality and compliance Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred) 5+ years of software development experience Strong hands-on experience with Angular, C#, .NET, SQL Server, Web API, JavaScript, and NodeJS Experience with microservices architecture and Entity Framework Understanding of system-level or box-level product development Experience working in multi-team development environments Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to deliver solutions in real-time or production environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field Experience with Linux environments (Windows required; Linux a plus) Knowledge of media types, video formats, and resolutions Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, shell scripting Exposure to security testing, standards, or compliance Experience working in regulated environments (medical device experience a plus)
