As a Security Guard - Tech/Media Patrol Driver in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic technology-focused location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying work environments and conditions.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential threats encountered during patrols to help to deter unwanted incidents.
• Collaborate with onsite personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a security-related presence throughout the location.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
