Job Description




As a Security Officer - Office Park Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, professional communication. You will document observations, support property staff and visitors with customer-focused service, and contribute to a caring, integrity-driven team that values reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting appropriate resources as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking areas, loading docks, stairwells, and the property perimeter as assigned.
  • Monitor access points and help manage visitor and contractor entry consistent with site procedures, including verifying credentials and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to property management and/or dispatch according to post orders.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation in a timely manner.
  • Assist with alarm activations and after-hours checks, including verifying doors, gates, and other controlled areas are secured per site procedures.
  • Support tenant move-ins, move-outs, and deliveries by maintaining order at designated areas and coordinating with property staff as directed.
  • Communicate professionally with Allied Universal supervision, site contacts, and/or local responders when required, using radios, phones, and/or other approved systems.
  • Follow all site-specific instructions related to public areas, amenities, and special events, helping to maintain an orderly environment throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • - Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • - Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
  • - Have a guard card/license, preferred.
  • - Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • - Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
