As a Security Officer - Retail Roving Patrol Driver in Commercial Point, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist shoppers and store teams with clear, respectful communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and meeting Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Patrol retail store areas, mall common spaces, entrances, stockroom corridors, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols on foot throughout the location, documenting observations and reporting issues per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer disputes, disturbances, and/or medical situations, and notify local emergency services as needed.
• Monitor and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or prohibited conduct, using clear verbal communication and professional presence.
• Support store and mall management with access control tasks such as monitoring service doors, receiving areas, and/or after-hours entry per site procedures.
• Write clear and complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and/or shift summaries according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Assist with loss prevention awareness by observing sales floor activity and reporting trends, while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
• Provide directions and general assistance to shoppers and staff, including wayfinding, store hours, and/or escalation of customer concerns.
• Operate site communication tools such as radios, phones, and/or electronic reporting applications to coordinate responses and share timely updates.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
