The position is focused on research into nucleotide metabolism in autoimmune diseases, with a focus on PET-based biomarkers and therapy development. The project is funded by NIH grants. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, or a related field. Previous experience studying the immune system, metabolism, and animal models of disease is highly desirable.
