The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful execution of SelectTech's aircraft modification programs. This position will be responsible for assisting project managers and other managers in the planning, execution, and completion of various program centric support functions. The Project Coordinator will serve as a central point of contact for the team, facilitating communication, tracking progress, and ensuring that projects meet their objectives within the specified time frame.

Essential Functions

  • Assist project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects from initiation to completion.
  • aintain tool control inventories, track tool usage, prepare and schedule tooling for calibration as required.
  • Facilitate communication for project team members and subcontractor personnel to include coordinating meetings and response times.
  • Submit data to subcontractor Quality Assurance personnel for inspection and complete call log entries to ensure QA team is aware of ready to inspect work packages.
  • Communicate with Defense Contracting Management Agency (DCMA) personnel to determine availability and readiness to complete inspections.
  • Support quality assurance efforts by monitoring project deliverables, i.e. completed work packages, against established quality standards and assisting in corrective actions as needed.
  • Issue work packages to on aircraft technicians and maintain an inventory of in work and staged installation kits.
  • Coordinate with subcontractor personnel to schedule and set up training as needed for on aircraft and program management team.
  • Monitor material inventories for items needing replenishment, hazmat expiration dates, and FIFO inventory practices for shelf life materials.
  • Provide general administrative support to project teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing project-related correspondence.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in facility under AS9100 and ISO9001.
  • Experience working on programs under DCMA Flight and Ground Operating Procedures (FGOPs) preferred but not required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with project team members and subcontractors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse project team.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software tools is preferred.
  • Must be able to qualify and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
