Warehouse Operations & Physical Tasks:

  • Oversee daily inventory management, packing/unpacking shipments, and maintenance of rental equipment (e.g., tablets, Chromebooks, Zebra printers).

  • Handle device repairs by coordinating with vendors like Samsung, and ensure secure storage and quick turnaround for returns.

Systems & Tech Management:

  • Collaborate on device imaging processes, troubleshoot recurring issues (like SIM cards or software updates), and maintain our FileWave system for device management.

  • Manage our Verizon account for 2000+ devices, including bill payments, activations/deactivations for lost or retired items, and scaling for growth (e.g., testing new tablets with engineering teams).

Customer Communication:

  • Provide timely updates and resolve issues to ensure seamless event experiences-think urgent support on Fridays/Saturdays with a 30-minute response time for critical tickets.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement:

  • Supervise logistics staff, accumulate and resolve ongoing issues (e.g., testing tablets or fixing printer labels), and support network/WiFi setup for large-scale device updates.

  • Dedicate 2-4 hours bi-weekly on-site to keep operations running smoothly, with flexibility for remote oversight.

Event Support & Expansion:

  • Prioritize device readiness for event days, working cross-functionally with IT, engineering, and product teams.

  • As we grow (e.g., acquiring new partners), lead equipment builds and testing to meet evolving needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in warehouse or logistics management, ideally from high-valume operations like Amazon, FedEx, or similar.

  • Proven track record in handling physical inventory, shipping/receiving, and customer-facing roles.
