Job Description The Facilities Management Engineering Senior Specialist performs preventative and ongoing maintenance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other infrastructure systems in mission-critical, high-risk, or high-reliability environments to ensure operational efficiency and maximum facility uptime. This role regularly inspects and monitors equipment and responds to irregular or malfunctioning conditions.Key Responsibilities * Assists with oversight of vendors to develop and implement facilities plans, including Request for Proposals, Request for Information, bids, etc... * Provides reports on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) pertaining to space, power and availability * Applies expertise and integrates knowledge to the development of concepts and techniques and process improvements * Identifies and resolves potential issues and works with others to ensure data center uptime and project success * Acts as a key individual contributor as a team member, providing influence, knowledge sharing, training, mentoring and direction to other staff engineers and peers * Collaborates with partner data centers at all times * Reviews major design modifications/upgrades in accordance with applicable codes including compliance and safety * Participates in industry standards where applicable and conducts benchmarking * Creates and reviews all mission critical MOPs(Method of Procedures) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for accuracy, safety and to assess the potential for business impact * Provides support of remote facilities when required Location and Work Hours
