Post-Doctoral Research Fellow - Cancer Immunology

Dhodapkar lab is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to work in a collaborative environment leading research on immune-therapies and immune function in cancer patients and cancer survivors. The focus of our lab is to study interactions between cancer and immune system in the setting of precursor states, clinical malignancy and during survivorship following completion of therapy. We are actively exploring various immune therapies including checkpoint blocking agents, CARTs and bispecific engagers for T cell redirection. We are interested in a motivated person to focus on studies harnessing interactions between tumor and immune cells particularly to understand the impact of immune aging. The position will provide opportunities to advance translational applications in the areas of immunotherapies and disease modeling, and for collaborations with colleagues in UW and other cancer centers. This position is ideally suited for a candidate who is motivated, enjoys working collaboratively across disciplines, mentoring junior scientific investigators, and contributing to an innovative academic environment to forge new scientific directions. Handling projects independently, conducting experiments in a timely manner, including literature reviews, experimental design, and data analysis, under the guidance of the laboratory PI.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $80,172 to $95,014, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance.
