Job Title: Patient Service Representative (PSR) Location: 191 S Buena Vista St, Burbank, CA Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (with potential of going permanent pending performance and attendance) Schedule: Monday-Friday \| 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $21/hour Position Overview We are seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to serve as the primary point of contact for patients in a fast-paced medical office setting. The PSR plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service while ensuring accurate patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative support. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients and clinical staff. Key Responsibilities * Greet and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner * Schedule and manage patient appointments * Check patients in and out and complete patient registration * Translate for Spanish-speaking patients as needed * Update and maintain accurate patient demographic information in the EMR system * Verify insurance eligibility and benefits * Obtain and track insurance authorizations * Answer and route incoming telephone calls * Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Required Skills & Qualifications * Bilingual in Spanish and English (required) * Experience with patient intake, check-in/check-out, and medical terminology * Strong data entry and insurance verification experience * Appointment scheduling experience in a medical setting * HMO experience strongly preferred * Working knowledge of EMR/EHR systems * Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills * Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive patient information appropriately Why Consider This Opportunity?
