The Structural Digital Delivery Lead will work within the Resources Business Group (RBG) on multi-discipline engineering design projects such as waste transfer facilities, electrical substations, natural gas compressor stations, and LNG facilities working closely with the RBG Digital Design and Delivery Lead (DDL) and RBG technical practitioners utilizing Autodesk Revit. Additional job responsibilities include assisting with developing and maintaining BIM content; building Revit interfaces, templates and standards, and supporting project teams with technical execution. Additionally, the Structural Digital Delivery Lead will work directly with the RBG DDL and Regional RBG DDLs to maintain BIM content libraries inclusive of all RBG Practices, Business Classes, and disciplines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide direction for the Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists, along with managing the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level
  • Possess an advanced understanding of how all disciplines interact and construction documents are produced
  • Work directly with the Project Manager to assist the Coordinators and Specialists to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project initiation procedure, establishing the server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scope
  • Execute digital deliverables and supporting production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects
  • Provide technical support, while communicating the deliverable schedule to the project team
  • To maintain quality, this individual will monitor the model health and coordination processes of the project, from the planning phase thru issue of construction documents
  • Execute these tasks autonomously and also mentor and provide guidance to other team members
  • Oversee and contribute to the development and maintenance of the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP)
  • Monitor and oversee the establishment of the document management system and help maintain the server infrastructure for multi-discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and related Revit Add-Ins, workflows, and associated software
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Plant 3D and Civil 3D
  • Familiarity with Autodesk BIM 360, ACC, Navisworks, and InfraWorks
  • Familiarity with ProjectWise and/or ProjectWise 365
  • Familiarity with BlueBeam and other PDF editors
  • Familiarity in model clash detection techniques
Required Qualifications
  • Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 5 years digital delivery (model management) experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems
  • Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure
  • Advanced skillset of 3D Coordination tools
  • Advanced skillset of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
  • Familiar with industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications
  • Familiar with basic automation and programming applications for efficiencies
  • Familiar with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applications
  • Familiar with content creation and management concepts
  • Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills are essential
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively serve as a first line of technical support
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and leadership traits are essential
  • Must have strong organizational skills to establish priorities between technical support requests and project work
  • Must be enthusiastic, energetic, and an excellent work ethic
