Driving Financial Insight, Strategy, and Performance

The purpose of the role is to provide transparency and analytical support to the Senior Manager, Finance, and the supported Hub Leadership teams. This role involves identifying opportunities, financial risks and ensuring reliable execution of monthly/quarterly/yearly controlling tasks. The job holder supports the Senior Manager, Finance, with financial planning, forecasting, running all finance activities of the supported hub functions and in executing the performance management cycle.


What You'll do
  • Develop and consolidate business plans (short, mid, and long-term) to orchestrate the steering of HNA's business. Provide recommendations to improve performance and drive results.
  • Support the Sr. Manager, Finance, in contributing to the development of the hub functions strategy, supporting strategic & financial decision making, challenging assumptions, providing financial analysis and guidance on activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
  • Understand business drivers and connect financial outcomes to operational activities. Drive and deliver analytical evaluations in key initiatives and projects. Translate complex data into insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Support HNA managers in operational expenditure (OPEX) and headcount review and improvement process; ensure annual targets are established and realized.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to plan for workforce needs to achieve Lead 2030, including formulating investment strategy, overseeing headcount plan execution in line with rolling forecast scenarios, maintaining relevant date, and providing updates on workforce plan development.
  • Act as business partner for variable compensation pay plans for market reach functions. Support and analyze financial simulations for pay plans. Support Finance leaders in defining and implementing target setting logic for sales plans that is based on sound financial principles, objective, fair and consistent.
  • Define and align dashboard vision and strategy with business goals. Educate regional and local stakeholders on available global/local standard reporting/dashboards and drive their adoption. Serve as the main stakeholder liaison between business stakeholders and data product developers, providing updates and collecting feedback.
  • Lead or participate in department or regional projects or tasks on an ongoing and/or as-needed basis.
  • Train HNA managers on financial topics during formal and informal HNA training classes.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or International Business, required
  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or International Business, preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years relevant experience; minimum two (2) years' experience in Finance or similar role
  • Strong organizational skills and process orientation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to compile and manage large volumes of data and analyze information for reporting purposes
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, required
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required
  • Ability to self-reflect and show a high learning agility, whilst proactively seeking and providing constructive feedback
  • Experience in management reporting and business planning, preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP, preferred
  • Fluent in English required, bilingual preferred
