Position: Outside Sales Representative: Go Pave Utah

Position type: Contract-to-hire. In-office

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm M-F

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Compensation: $55,000 base salary + commission (based on performance)

Reports to: Sales Manager

Travel: Moderate (primarily Western U.S., occasional national travel)

Position Overview

We're seeking a Sales Representative with experience in the packaging, construction, or maintenance services industry to join our growing team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with industrial and commercial clients, managing a designated territory, and driving new business growth across multiple states.

The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, and results-driven, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the needs of clients in manufacturing, logistics, and facilities management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals within assigned territories (Utah, Idaho, California, Oregon).
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and tailored pavement maintenance solutions.
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and presentations for potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as needed.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new sales opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in one or more of the following industries: construction, packaging, facility maintenance, or industrial services.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable traveling throughout the Western U.S. (moderate travel required).
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
