Civil Structural Engineer

Compensation: $ 100,000 - $140,000 DOE/Salary + Comprehensive benefits package

BBSI is partnering with an industry leader in crane systems to find a talented Structural Engineer to help design and ensure the structural integrity of lifting systems used in industrial, aerospace, and commercial applications.

This role offers the chance to work on specialized, hands-on projects from design through execution-all while collaborating with a dedicated team of mechanical, electrical, and structural experts

Duties:

• Conduct load and stress calculations and select appropriate materials
• Ensure compliance with industry codes (OSHA, ASCE, AISC, etc.)
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate systems with existing infrastructure
• Review and approve technical drawings and project specifications
• Conduct site visits to assess structural conditions and provide solutions
• Create reports, documentation, and technical proposals

Qualifications:

• Active PE license (Professional Engineer) or in progress
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (structural or industrial construction preferred)
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools
• Deep understanding of steel design and load-bearing systems
• Excellent problem-solver
