Production Technician I - 2nd Shift Shift: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM Training: Initial 4-week training on 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) Position Summary The Production Technician I plays a key role in supporting and leading production activities within a manufacturing environment. This position may involve leading a small production team and/or participating in assigned production operations, including semi-automated machine lines, manual carton packing, and other production-related tasks. The role requires close collaboration with operators to meet quality, safety, and production goals. This is a second shift position, with a required four-week training period on first shift prior to transitioning to second shift hours. How You'll Make an Impact Perform final kit assembly of packaged products used to calibrate and quality-control diagnostic testing platforms for hospitals, clinics, and laboratories Conduct in-process and final quality inspections to ensure product quality standards are met Complete delivery of finished goods to the distribution warehouse Interpret and follow procedures and work instructions while leading or supporting a production team Accurately complete and review quality documentation, process orders, and batch records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Perform inventory and quality transactions using the SAP inventory system What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent Mid-level manufacturing or production experience Proficiency in basic math, reading, and writing Strong team leadership and goal-oriented mindset Ability to manage time, people, and resources effectively Comfortable working with a diverse team Familiarity with computers and basic software systems The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
