System & Network Validator Integrator

Nokia of America Corporation, System & Network Validator Integrator (Multiple Positions), Raleigh, NC.

• Develop and manage customer focus test plans and related documentation to set up end-to-end customer networks using PON systems within the Nokia CFT Lab.

• Prepare and execute test plans to validate product features, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

• Design regression test strategies and select test cases based on code impact and new feature integration.

• Utilize test automation tools with hands-on development in Python and Shell, leveraging frameworks like Robot and Selenium.

• Install, configure, and maintain Nokia's data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.

• Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of network, and server resources and systems.

• Perform troubleshooting with routers and switches to resolve network issues.

• Collaborate closely with customer teams and Product Line Managers (PLMs) to align testing with customer needs and product requirements.

• Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies.

• Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert. #LI-DNI

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following:

• GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network), XG-PON (asymmetrical 10G Passive Optical Network), XGS-PON (symmetrical 10G Passive Optical Network), and NG-PON2 (Next-Generation Passive Optical Network) technologies;

• ITU-T G.988 standard;

• RG-ONTs (Residential Gateway Optical Network Terminals), and SFU-ONTs (Single Family Unit Optical Network Terminals);

• Optical Line Terminals including 7342, 7360, and MF-x platform; and,

• Scripting language: Python.

Domestic travel up to 10% required.
