Position Summary:

Responsible to support G&W Electric's corporate sustainability initiatives by gathering data, performing environmental analyses, and helping translate findings into actionable insights. The role applies foundational technical knowledge and sound judgment to evaluate sustainability metrics, support reporting needs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and motivated to contribute to improvements in products and processes aligned with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.

Primary/Essential Responsibilities:



  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to collect, review and interpret gather, analyze, and report data related to Corporate and Product sustainability.

    • Responsible for performing life cycle assessments (LCAs) and developing environmental product declarations (EPD).
    • Track and summarize progress toward sustainability KPIs, identifying trends and potential improvement areas.
    • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders across the organization to promote sustainability strategies and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
    • Apply established industry tools and methodologies related to GHG emissions environmental impact assessments. Participates in compliance reviews of internal processes and practices.


  • Support Supply Chain, EHS, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams in integrating sustainability considerations into new products and processes.
  • Assist in responding to customer surveys and questionnaires related to sustainability, such as CDP, TSP, and Ecovadis.
  • Support regulatory and compliance activities related to sustainability.
  • Monitor relevant environmental regulations and assist in updating internal procedures as needed.
  • Work with internal teams to help implement new requirements and maintain compliance.
  • Contribute to sustainability and EHS team initiatives that promote engagement, awareness and continuous improvement.


Required Qualifications:



  • 0-3 years of experience in a sustainability-driven technical field
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, sustainability, or physical/chemical field
  • Understanding of GHG Protocols
  • Preferred: Experience with data analysis and sustainability software and tools
  • Preferred: Experience with Materiality Assessments, Aspects/Impacts
