Description
Brown and Caldwell (BC) is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a Technical Editor within our growth-oriented engineering, environmental consulting, and construction firm. As a key member of the West Business Unit Administrative Team, the Technical Editor plays an essential role in delivering high quality written materials to our clients. In this role, you will review and refine a wide range of technical documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. You will help translate complex technical information into clear, effective content, while upholding BC's standards. This position works closely with technical and administrative staff across disciplines to develop comprehensive, well-crafted documentation. Our ideal candidate brings strong editing skills, experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A hybrid work assignment from one of our offices in Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Boise, Denver, Salt Lake City, Dallas or Houston is preferred but fully remote work from Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones is allowed for a candidate with the right experience. Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future. Location A: $58,000 - $79,000 Location B: $64,000 - $87,000 Location C: $70,000 - $95,000 You can view which BC location applies to you here.
