Position Summary

The Manager of Patient Financial Services is responsible for daily operations of an assigned segment of the department to ensure accurate, timely and compliant billing, follow-up, denial management, and collections or account resolution, always focusing on the patient's experience. This position requires intense coordination with facilities or clinic sites and supporting vendors. Work situations require management and supervision of billing, collection, accounts receivable, and/or other staff; knowledge of accounting and reporting practices; development of policies and procedures related to the billing and collection process, and establishing and maintaining client linkages and service parameters. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

  • BA or BS required, four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered. Preferred area of focus Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Minimum five (5) years Accounts Receivable/Patient Billing/Cash Management experience required
  • Minimum two (2) years of accounting or finance experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity required
  • Healthcare Experience required

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $100,547.00 - $144,685.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
