Spectra Tech is seeking a Parts Room Clerk for Coconut Creek, FL.

Job Description:

The Parts Room Clerk is responsible for the organization and inventory management of all mechanical and electrical components.

Key Responsibilities

Log and verify all assets in MaintainX system.

  • Model
  • Serial numbers
  • Equipment hours
  • Pictures of assets

Organize parts room and short used parts and items from new items.

  • This will require building shelfing units
  • Taking down and putting up racks
  • Removal of scrap and trash
  • Havening detailed knowledge of motors, bearings, belting, electrical components and misc. industrial parts

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience Level:

Experience: 1-3 years in a warehouse, parts room, or maintenance environment (Food/Beverage or Pharma experience is a huge plus).

Technical Literacy: Ability to identify common industrial parts (e.g., sprockets, pneumatic fittings, PLC components).

Software Savvy: Proficiency in Excel and experience with CMMS software (like SAP, Maintenance Connection, or Fiix).

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet in various climate-controlled environments (including cold storage or high-heat areas).

Attention to Detail: In a food plant, the wrong bolt or a missing gasket can lead to a massive safety recall. Precision is non-negotiable.
