The Role:

Entegris is currently seeking a Sr Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division. This position will be at our San Luis Obispo, CA facility.

Thispositionplays a pivotal role in guidingthe sitethrough complex transformation initiatives by delivering advanced process improvements, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, and enabling sustainable business results.This professional combineschange management skills,anddeep Lean / Six Sigmaexpertiseto helpthe San Luis Obispomanufacturing siteoptimizetheir operational performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive long-term value.

What You'll Do:

  • Process Analysis & Improvement: Lead process assessmentsand process mapping, usingmethodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma,andKaizen.Identifybottlenecks, inefficiencies, and root causes, and develop actionable recommendations that drive measurable improvements inefficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Project Leadership: Manage multiple operational excellence projects simultaneously, coordinating cross-functional teams and resources. Develop project charters, define deliverables, manage timelines, and ensure execution aligns with strategicobjectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships withsiteleadersand front-line employees to understand business needs, secure buy-in, and drive change adoption.
  • Change Management: Partner with Site leadership to design and implement change management strategies, communication plans, and training programs tofacilitateseamless transitions and maximize adoption.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to inform recommendations and measure project impact. Present findings and insights to diverse audiences through compelling presentations and reports.
  • Coaching & Capability Building: Mentor and train manufacturing teams in operational excellence tools, methodologies, and mindsets, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-sufficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring sustained results andidentifyingfurther improvementopportunities.
  • Less than 10%of travelisrequired.

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor's degreein engineeringor otherrelatedsciencesdegrees, operations, supply chain.
  • A minimum of3yearsor moreofrelatedexperience.
  • Leanmanufacturing and operationsexposure.
  • Proven ability to drive change in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to successfully motivate andmaintainemployee involvement while driving change.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Experience in program management and cross-functional leadership.
  • The ability to work on-siteisrequiredfor this role.

  • Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
