Overview
Deutsche Bank benefits from having a highly experienced and dedicated Anti Financial Crime (AFC) function, which performs a crucial role in keeping Deutsche Bank's business operations and global financial services clean from financial crime while serving the interests of the Bank and society. The AFC team is accountable for protecting Deutsche Bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling and mitigating risks. The AFC AML Quality Control Team will be responsible for designing and implementing a quality control framework, including the associated policies, procedures and controls.

What You'll Do

  • Support an organized culture that places high priority on effective investigations and adherence to sound internal controls, including standards of conduct, integrity and ethical behavior for the FCO teams
  • Escalate gaps or issues identified through quality review process and propose solutions or process enhancement to address observed gaps / issues
  • Implement enhancements to internal policies and/or procedures based on identified gaps or best practices and support the training team to develop and deliver content.
  • Foster an inclusive team environment that promotes opportunity, diversity, and innovation.
  • Act as an AML/CTF Subject Matter Expert (SME), especially around investigations and emerging AML/CTF trends and typologies
  • Support all examinations and reviews performed by regulators, monitors, and internal audit

Skills You'll Need

  • You must have considerable experience in AML/CTF or a related legal, law enforcement, compliance, or regulatory role, preferably within the financial services industry, including a strong background in an FCO unit with broad knowledge of AML/CTF investigations.
  • You must have experience conducting AML investigations in a transaction monitoring or comparable environment, supported by multiple years of related professional experience.
  • You must have experience with regulatory engagement, including regulatory reviews, audits, and issue remediation, and an understanding of the legal and compliance issues within complex banking organizations.
  • You must have knowledge of banking products and services, including corporate banking, investment banking, wealth management, and asset management, as well as Correspondent Banking, Private Banking, and Investment Banking products.
  • You must have knowledge of Markets, Wealth, Trade, Trade Finance, and Correspondent Banking products, with Markets and/or Wealth business line experience considered beneficial.
  • You must have strong independent working capability, including the ability to prioritize workloads with minimal supervision, combined with operational knowledge of USD payment systems such as SWIFT, CHIPS, ACH, and FedFunds, and knowledge of AML laws and regulations including the USA PATRIOT Act and requirements from the Fed, SEC, and FINRA, and their application to supported products and business lines.

  • You must have the ability to interact effectively with Infrastructure and other appropriate groups in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must have strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to identify, escalate, and communicate issues to management in an effective and succinct manner.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $75,000 to $119,500.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
